Ochil Tower School offers highly personalised residential care and education for children and young people aged 8-21 with complex additional support needs. We currently have four residential houses accommodating 15 young people plus two day pupils.
An opportunity has arisen for a Head of Care at the school. The post holder will drive forward the continuing improvement of our residential provision to ensure we provide the highest quality of care for our children and young people. They will work collaboratively with the Head of Education and the Executive Director and carry the responsibilities of the Registered Care Manager.

Job Summary

Our psychology team within the organisation is continuing to grow, demonstrating their value and importance to our ever evolving services and support. We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist to lead on this work in our West of Scotland teams and take an active leadership role within the organisation. The key focus of this role will be to support the organisation to continue to implement psychologically informed environment principles and trauma informed care, creating and maintaining psychological safety for all. This work will be carried out under the supervision of a Prinicipal Clinical Psychologist external to Simon Community Scotland. The job plan will be agreed with the Director of Services, working independently within the framework, policies and procedures of the organisation. The job plan will cover both direct and indirect work, with more focus on indirect, it is an opportunity to use the range of skills of a Clinical Psychologist; leadership, formulation, consultation, supervision, research and service development. We are looking for a Night Shift Worker who will maintain the therapeutic centre as a safe environment for residents as the only waking night shift worker, while promoting a caring environment through high standards of professional practice.

Your tasks include establishing and maintaining the general security of the building during night shift hours, in accordance with policies and procedures and accepted customs and practices, and, in the absence of a Project Worker, with ‘on-call’ management support, lead shift. Fife Women’s Aid are delighted to have developed Housing First for women experiencing domestic abuse and are looking to recruit a full-time support worker for this service.
The role will involve providing ongoing flexible support to women in their own accommodation, with a focus on harm reduction and tenancy sustainment within the community. The service will work in accordance with the Housing First principles and will enhance our existing service provision for women who have experienced domestic abuse.
