We are now seeking an outstanding Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation through its next phase of growth, sustainability, and impact.

The Role

The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for providing strategic leadership, operational oversight, and direction to the organisation. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the CEO will ensure the charity delivers excellent youth and developmental services, remains financially sustainable, and continues to respond effectively to the changing needs of young people and our communities.

This is a pivotal role combining strategic vision with strong executive leadership, requiring the ability to lead people, partnerships, performance, and change.

Lanarkshire Rape Crisis Centre (LRCC); established in 2004, is an independent charity with the objective of relieving the distress and improving the welfare of women and girls who, at any time in their lives, have been subjected to any form of sexual violence. LRCC is a member of the Scottish Rape Crisis Alliance; and we work collaboratively with rape crisis centres across Scotland and specialist organisations in this sector as part of the national movement to eradicate male violence against women.

Supporting around 600 survivors every year and engaging with thousands of people in Lanarkshire in achieving our objectives, Lanarkshire Rape Crisis Centre is the lead specialist agency in this field and is highly regarded and trusted by statutory organisations, local third sector partners and most importantly the women and girls we support. As women and girls are overwhelmingly those subjected to all forms of sexual violence and men are overwhelmingly those perpetrating those offences, we operate from a feminist analysis of male violence against women. We are committed to upholding women’s rights, equality, and dignity, and to delivering services within the lawful framework that enables specialist, women only provision. The role

The post holder provides strategic and operational leadership to Lanarkshire Rape Crisis Centre. The Centre Director is responsible for ensuring the organisation remains women centred, feminist, and survivor led, while delivering sustainable, high quality services for survivors of all forms of sexual violence and abuse.

This role requires confident leadership, sound judgement, and a deep understanding of gender based violence and the third sector in Scotland.

Hours:

• 35 hours a week with some evening working required.
• Weekend working for e.g. occasional staff training and events. (Applications will also be considered for applicants looking for between 28hrs – 35hrs per week)

Salary:

• £45,000 p.a. (this will be pro-rated for hours worked) fixed term until 31st March 2027
• As this is a core post, LRCC is committed to securing ongoing funding beyond this timeframe.

Location:

• LRCC Premises, central Hamilton. This job role is office based, with maximum 1 day per week working from home. Travel across Lanarkshire for external meetings, and some further occasional travel for meetings/conferences.

MND Scotland is the only charity in Scotland dedicated to supporting people with MND, their families, and friends.

Since being founded over forty years ago, MND Scotland has provided practical, financial and emotional support to anyone affected by MND whilst also funding essential research into finding effective treatments and a cure.

As a member of the Senior Leadership team (SLT), the Head of Finance and Operations will work strategically and collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to support the development and implementation of our strategic and business planning processes.

You will provide financial challenge across the organisation, embedding a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency and ensuring every penny our supporters raise is utilised for the best outcomes of people affected by MND.

You will be an experienced manager with considerable finance and administrative experience, preferably with a good knowledge of HR operations. You will also be experienced in working within a charity structure and will have a strong passion and commitment to help improve the lives of people affected by motor neuron disease (MND) across Scotland.

We are seeking a Chief Executive to lead our team. The post holder will ensure delivery of the Museum’s Mission Statement; take overall responsibility for the financial sustainability of the Museum through income generation, fund raising and marketing; maintain the Museum Accreditation standard; and ensure that the curatorial, research and education objectives of the Museum are delivered.

Key responsibilities:

• Work with the Board to agree and deliver the Business Plan
• Development, production, implementation, monitoring, reporting and evaluation of the Museum’s overall Forward Plan
• Delivery of the Museum’s Curatorial, Active Archaeology, Education and Volunteering Service, ensuring staff have resources to deliver outcomes
• Ensure maintenance of the Museum Accreditation Scheme standard
• Work with staff and trustees to lobby and campaign at local and national levels for the preservation and interpretation of Kilmartin Glen’s landscape, archaeological and natural heritage
• Oversight of the visitor experience
• Delivery of Service Level Agreements in place with partners
• Plan and curate the use of the Special Exhibition galleries going forward
• Manage all costs
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements including reporting to OSCR and Companies House
• Work to create positive relationships within the local community.

Salary is approx. £48,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience.

Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) exists so nobody in Scotland suffers or dies because medical help cannot get there in time. People can get sick or have accidents anywhere and anytime. But in Scotland there are places where urgent medical help cannot reach people. Or help gets there too late. And when lives are at risk every minute matters. Annually, SCAA responds to between 900- 1,000 incidents, delivering emergency relief of serious sickness and injury and assist the speed of recovery in time critical medical emergencies. As a charity we rely on donations from the Scottish public, companies and communities to ensure that urgent medical help gets to the patient when it is needed, wherever they are and at whatever time of day.

Position

Operating at a senior level within the organisation you will lead a team of four managers within a culture of innovation, support and cross team working, with the aim of providing a strategic approach to ensure the best possible journey for our donors and supporters. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our fundraising strategy across community, events and volunteering, trusts and grants, corporate and philanthropy by crafting ambitious regional plans, nurturing high-performing teams, and driving excellence in supporter engagement and recognition. You will champion a relationship-led approach, ensuring every supporter feels valued and inspired to raise vital funds whilst recognising the impact they will have on a lifesaving service across Scotland. You will work collaboratively with the Individual Giving and Engagement team to drive new business pipelining and amplify fundraising campaigns, develop new fundraising products, and represent SCAA at external events and sector initiatives. With donors at the centre of everything we do you will be responsible for effectively growing and developing a team to support their journey. You will be a leader within an aspirational culture where the team are driven to meet and exceed targets to ensure we move ever closer to realising our ambition that No one in Scotland should die because help can’t get there in time. Using insight, analysis and audience understanding, you will inform strategic decisions and continuously evolve our regional fundraising approach to maximise impact and income.
