About MECOPP

MECOPP (Minority Ethnic Carers of People Project) is Scotland’s leading Black and Minority Ethnic carers’ organisation. We work to reduce inequalities, improve access to culturally appropriate services, and support some of the most marginalised communities across Scotland.

We are looking for a dedicated Accommodation Policy Worker to support policy development and advocacy work for the Gypsy/Traveller community across Scotland.

This role focuses on researching and influencing accommodation-related policy (including housing and planning), engaging with stakeholders, and supporting consultation responses and policy development. You will play a key role in ensuring the voices and rights of the Gypsy/Traveller community are reflected in local and national policy.

This is a great opportunity for someone with policy experience and a strong commitment to social justice and equality.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead the delivery of key projects within our Gypsy/Traveller programme.

This role will involve full responsibility for project planning, delivery, monitoring and reporting, as well as staff management and budget oversight. You will work closely with senior leadership to support strategic development, funding applications, and organisational growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership and project management experience who is passionate about equality and improving outcomes for marginalised communities.
