About you
You will need to be an active team player and be able to demonstrate how you’ve managed and motivated a team previously beyond expectations and experience of providing excellent customer service in a face-to-face role.
Have a good knowledge of recruiting and developing a diverse team and how you have supported and motivated teams to progress and how you would bring these skills into this position.
You will need to have good communication skills to engage with the local community to seek out new opportunities to increase the shops contribution to help further Shelter’s cause. You will develop your own and your teams’ interests in merchandising the shop attracting customers and continually develop yours and your team’s knowledge of Shelter, who we are and what we do.

What is a Trustee?
In simple terms:Trustees are the guardians of our charity – ensuring we stay true to our mission of helping cancer patients access treatment while managing our resources responsibly and planning for sustainable growth.
The legal bit:Trustees have overall control of a charity and are responsible for making sure it's doing what it was set up to do. They exercise their powers and duties with care, always acting in the charity's best interests, ensuring compliance with charity law and our governing document.
You'll be part of a supportive boardworking collaboratively to govern The Driving Force effectively.
Time Commitment

CoWL are recruiting a Support Advisor to join our Memory Information Support Team (MIST). This role provides direct, person-centred support to unpaid carers, families and the people they support with memory difficulties or dementia.
The post holder will work one-to-one and in groups, offering guidance and practical help to navigate challenges and access support. The Support Advisor will also contribute to wider CoWL work, responding flexibly to the needs of carers and disabled adults, helping individuals access opportunities that enhance wellbeing, independence and resilience.
Family Support Workers provide one-to-one holistic, information, advice and support to families across Highland via phone/email/online, supporting and enabling them to improve their lives by building their confidence, empowering them to recognise their personal expertise and value, implement practical support strategies, access services, know their rights, and have their voices heard.
Each Family Support Worker will also have a specific locality remit as detailed earlier: for 1) face-to-face support activities in collaboration with local organisations and communities and 2) building relationships with local partners and communities to a) improve our reach and impact and b) identify and pursue opportunities for collaboration to effectively meet local needs within the resource available.

As a small charity team work is integral to our success and effective functioning. It is sometimes necessary for team members to share responsibility for a range of tasks such as communications/fundraising/service strategy/monitoring for which a larger organisation would have dedicated posts.
Fife Women’s Aid are looking to recruit a part-time support worker to join our Women’s Support Team.
As a service, we are expanding our capacity to better meet the needs of women who have experienced domestic abuse. Candidates should have good communication skills and a passion for supporting recovery from domestic abuse.
The successful applicants will have at least SVQ Level III or equivalent level of qualification in health and social care or other relevant subject, or a willingness to work towards a qualification.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a high degree of motivation and have the ability to work on their own as well as part of a team. An ability to cover on-call is an advantage (additional payments are made for this role).
