In this role you will be responsible for maintaining and developing all areas of the work of the Royston Food Hub, supporting local communities and individuals through the provision of food education alongside improved access to fruit and vegetables, and opportunities to take part in growing activities.
Using community development approaches you will develop and maintain a programme of activities aimed at reducing the impacts of food poverty, improving health and wellbeing and encouraging community led responses.
You will take an active role in building partnerships and joint working with a range of organisations and groups to plan and deliver food based focused work, and you will have day to day responsibility for the running and development of services including Royston Community Pantry, healthy eating sessions, cookery classes, youth gardening and community growing.

North Glasgow Community Food Initiative (NGCFI) is a community-led organisation working across North Glasgow to reduce food poverty, improve health and wellbeing, and support strong, connected communities.
Through a network of food hubs and community spaces, NGCFI delivers dignified food access, community meals, cafés, pantries, cookery classes, community fridges, growing projects, and volunteering opportunities. Description of Role
In this role you will provide strategic, values-driven leadership and inspiring management to the staff team across three food hub projects, motivating and supporting individuals in their work. You will provide continuity of leadership during a maternity cover period, maintaining delivery of agreed organisational priorities. You will hold organisational oversight of fundraising activity, with responsibility for meeting agreed income targets, increasing and diversifying existing and new revenue streams, specifically digital donations, corporate social responsibility and charitable trust income. Work with the income generation manager to build sustainable, reliable unrestricted income generation.
Using community development approaches you will support and maintain a clear fundraising vision and project development aimed at reducing the impacts of food poverty, improving health and wellbeing and developing community-led responses. You will take an active role in building partnerships and joint working with a range of organisations and groups to plan and deliver food-based focused work, and you will have day-to-day responsibility for the strategic leadership and development of the organisation, working closely with the Board of Directors.
You will also act as the organisation’s Safeguarding Lead.

The aim of the PDS National Service is to enable people to live well with dementia and is centred around Alzheimer Scotland's 5 pillar model so that people move on to a period of supported self- management.
The model includes understanding the illness and coming to terms with the diagnosis, peer support, connecting and maintaining links with their community along with planning for future care and decision making to develop an outcome focused plan to support their future hopes, desires and aspirations.
Supporting our East and Mid Ross shire, Highland locality, the post will be based within the Community Mental Health Team at Invergordon Hospital. Alzheimer Scotland’s PDS Link Workers are required to be effective team workers and have the skills to build and maintain relationships with colleagues both within Alzheimer Scotland, the NHS and other stakeholders.
Skills in using digital platforms are essential as we use a blended approach to support people that involve some virtual meetings and on-line groups.
Applicants must hold a recognised relevant professional qualification, have a good understanding of dementia and how it affects people and their families along with excellent communication skills, a warm flexible approach, combined with skills in empathy and relationship building.
In addition, you should have skills and knowledge at the Enhanced Level of the Promoting Excellence Framework or be able to evidence you are working towards its completion.

We are seeking a motivated and community-focused individual to join our small team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in helping create more prosperous and more resilient communities across rural Angus, which are better places in which to live and work.
You will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Trustees, to support the delivery of the 2026-2027 Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) funding programme for Angus Rural Partnership. This will require the ability to build trust and to develop positive relationships with community groups, local stakeholders and partner organisations.
You will ensure that our fund is administered efficiently and in a way that supports community organisations to access funding and deliver projects that improve the quality of life in their communities. You will be proactive, flexible and collaborative in your approach to working with fund applicants.
You must hold an appropriate qualification in Administration, Business or a related discipline; and/or have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, along with having good IT skills. The ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload whilst working to specific deadlines is essential and experience in administering and assessing grant applications is desirable.

Alzheimer Scotland is Scotland’s national dementia charity. Our aim is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide support and information to people with dementia, their carers and families, we campaign for the rights of people with dementia and fund vital dementia research.
What you’ll do
You will be responsible for supporting people living with dementia to achieve good outcomes using a range of therapeutic interventions, resources and activities as appropriate. You will also work with the Commissioned Service Lead to complete and maintain high-quality person-centred documentation, assessments and reviews, taking appropriate actions to maintain the safety and wellbeing of those who use the Day Service.
Working as part of the Registered and Commissioned Services team you will have responsibility for ensuring that services are of the highest quality and meet Alzheimer Scotland’s vision for unique therapeutic, highly person-centred support. You will work with the wider team and Commissioned Service Lead to ensure safe practice and delivery of high-quality, person-centred, therapeutic Registered and Commissioned Services, ensuring practice complies with Alzheimer Scotland’s policies. You will contribute to evidencing, reviewing and continually improving the quality of the services and will participate in internal audit and Care Inspectorate inspections.
You will also work with the wider team to evidence that services meet Alzheimer Scotland’s Quality Guarantees, Scotland’s Health and Social Care standards and other quality frameworks including those of the Care Inspectorate where relevant. This includes ensuring that the activities and support offered meet the identified personal outcomes of those attending the services.
You will be based in our Day Services operating from Taigh Shiphoirt, Stornoway which at times, will involve working without supervision in the absence of the Commissioned Service Lead. You will work 9am – 5pm with the usual work pattern of 2 weeks of 2 x 7 hour shift and 2 weeks of 3 x 7 hour shift in the Day Services. Your working days will be set however an element of flexibility will be required at times to ensure the continuous safe delivery of service.
