We are looking for 2 Youth Work Leads to deliver youth sessions, clubs and activities for our young people and families within YoMo services across Glasgow the delivery will be varied and will always be driven by the needs of young people and the community.

There will also be the remit of devising and implementing new projects and clubs as guided by funding requirements and service user’s needs. These will include building and creating programs that provide accreditation through youth and SQA awards that build skills for young people’s future employment.

You will work in partnership with local organisations, social work and schools and build up strong positive community links. You will work to enhance the lives of young people by ensuring activities are provided to develop their mental, emotional, physical and social well-being needs.

You will have the responsibility of helping with fundraising drives and initiatives.

You will also be committed to ongoing personal development and undertake training or other professional development activities as required.

All other reasonable duties will be required to be undertaken as and when required and agreed with the Project Manager.

Full time post 35 hours per week, with hours worked varying over days, nights and weekend duties as required.

For the past nine years, Bethany Christian Trust have been delivering a community-based addiction recovery program in Scotland. As the demand for this service grows, we are looking for a candidate who will lead, develop and deliver Bethany’s Bridge to Freedom program within a group setting. A significant part of the role will also be to facilitate and develop recovery and resettlement work in partnership with churches and other organisations around Inverness.

It is essential that you have experience in facilitating, planning and working with vulnerable people in a community setting. A qualification in Social Work, Social Care, Community Education or related discipline is essential, or a willingness to work towards such a qualification.

The Glasgow School of Art (GSA) is seeking to appoint a new external member to its Audit and Risk Committee (ARC). This is an opportunity to contribute independent expertise to one of the UK’s leading art and design institutions and deepen your non-executive and governance experience.

About Glasgow School of Art

Founded in 1845 as one of the UK’s first government-supported schools of design, the GSA can trace its lineage to the 1750s and the establishment, during the Scottish Enlightenment, of the Foulis Academy, the UK’s first school of art.

About the Role

The Audit and Risk Committee plays a key role in supporting the Board of Governors by providing assurance on the effectiveness of the School’s financial systems, internal control environment, and risk management arrangements.

This appointment is intended to strengthen the Committee’s collective expertise, particularly in audit and finance.

The successful candidate will:

  • provide independent professional insight and constructive challenge in the context of the Audit and Risk Committee;
  • review audit reports, financial statements, accounting policies and the risk register as part of the work of the Audit and Risk Committee;
  • contribute to the work of the Audit and Risk Committee in a manner that supports strong governance, regulatory compliance and effective risk oversight;
  • be a full voting member of the Audit and Risk Committee

Focused on the work of the Audit and Risk Committee, this role does not involve membership of the Board of Governors and carries no wider Board responsibilities. The Audit and Risk Committee Remit and Membership can be located here for information.

Time Commitment

  • Attendance at 3-4 meetings annually (normally held via video conference between November and May) – attendance at in-person meetings is not normally required but may exceptionally be requested
  • Approximately 16 hours per year, which includes time to read committee papers and to prepare for meetings

Skills and Experience

We are particularly interested in candidates with strong experience in the following:

  • Accountancy / Finance (e.g., qualified accountant or senior financial leadership)
  • Audit and assurance - ability to interpret audit reports and financial information
  • Risk management in a complex or regulated environment

Any application should make it clear where the applicant’s skills and experience meets one or more of these areas.

In addition, experience in public, third sector or education governance is desirable but not essential.

Candidates should meet at least one of the areas specified in Skills and Experience (above) and demonstrate:

  • high standards of integrity and professionalism
  • strong analytical skills and sound judgement
  • confidence in contributing to senior-level discussions
  • commitment to the Seven Principles of Public Life: Selflessness, Integrity, Objectivity, Accountability, Openness, Honesty and Leadership

Applications from first-time non-executives are welcome, provided candidates understand the nature of the governance role and can demonstrate that they are ready to contribute at that level.

Purpose

The IT Systems Coordinator ensures that SU Scotland’s staff and volunteers are supported by reliable, well-managed digital systems and services. The role focuses on coordinating IT support, managing requests, and liaising with external providers to ensure issues are resolved promptly and systems continue to meet organisational needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate IT support requests, ensuring issues are prioritised, tracked, and resolved efficiently

- Act as the main liaison with the Managed Service Provider (MSP) and other IT suppliers

- Maintain accurate records of IT hardware, software licences, and subscriptions

- Support IT onboarding and offboarding processes in collaboration with HR

- Develop and maintain IT documentation, procedures, and user guidance

- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement

- Assist with IT policy development, GDPR compliance, and data security practices

- Promote effective and responsible use of IT systems across the organisation

Who we are looking for

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following:

• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to track tasks, follow up consistently, and ensure nothing is overlooked

• Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple requests, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
