The Skylark IX Recovery Trust cares for a ‘Dunkirk Little Ship’ that saved lives during Operation Dynamo in 1940 and was herself later saved from a watery grave at Loch Lomond in 2012. Today, as a symbol of recovery and resilience, Skylark IX sits at the heart of our projects inspiring people to make positive changes to their lives and communities.

Community Engagement Officer

The Community Engagement Officer will work closely with the Trustees to develop and co-ordinate a high quality community based activity programme to support the success of the Skylark IX project.

The post-holder will lead on engagement, recruitment, training, support, retention and recognition of all activity programmes.

This will also involve working collaboratively with partnerships to ensure identification of opportunities and placement for volunteers and trainees as well as helping to maintain all related administrative systems.
