Equal Voice is a Citizen Advocacy project based in Central Fife. We are a registered charity who provide independent advocacy for central Fife residents who have a learning disability, physical disability or a mental health difficulty which makes them unable to look after their own affairs. The project offers assistance to adults aged 16 - 65 years old within the central Fife learning and community setting who need support speaking up for themselves.
The project’s activity is aimed at raising the awareness of ordinary members of the community who can offer a few spare hours regularly as a volunteer, and are interested in meeting new people, trying new things, and believe that everyone should have choices and opportunities. The project provide them with the opportunity to make a difference in the life of a local vulnerable adult by developing a voluntary long-term partnership
To provide high-quality administrative and development support to the organisation, ensuring the effective delivery of advocacy services and events.
This is primarily an administrative and coordination role with some involvement in supporting delivery activities. The post-holder will have direct contact with vulnerable adults and will carry out duties in line with safeguarding requirements, confidentiality, and person-centred practice.
