Citizens Advice Bureau West Lothian are seeking unpaid volunteer Directors to join their Board of Directors. They should reside or work in West Lothian.
Directors are expected to play a full part in the activities of the CAB West Lothian Board.
The role of the Board is to set a strategic framework for the organisation, monitor and evaluate the performance of the organisation, including financial performance; and ensure the highest standard of governance and conduct in the business of CAB WL.
The Board meets at least five times per year. In addition, Standing Committees meet a minimum of four times a year. Directors are also requested to participate in various sub committees, working groups, the Annual General meeting and ongoing training events as required.

The Citizens Advice Bureau in West Lothian have an exciting opportunity for a HMP Addiewell Project Adviser to join our highly successful team. The post holder will provide residents within HMP Addiewell with advice and information where required and attend induction days provided by HMP Addiewell to new residents.
The successful applicant will work with residents at HMP Addiewell along with external agencies who operate services within the prison to ensure that the provision of a high-quality holistic service is delivered to clients.
