CAB West Lothian is seeking an experienced and values‑driven Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation and deliver high‑quality advice and support services across West Lothian.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight, ensuring effective governance, financial sustainability and delivery of the organisation’s charitable purposes. The role includes leading day‑to‑day operations, driving income generation, strengthening partnerships, and representing the organisation locally and nationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of the organisation’s strategy, operations and charitable objectives

• Work in partnership with the Board to ensure strong governance and compliance

• Provide financial leadership, including budgeting and sustainability

• Lead fundraising, income generation and partnership development

• Represent the organisation and act as its principal advocate

• Lead and develop staff, promoting a positive and inclusive culture

About You

You will be a proven senior leader with experience in a charity, public sector or values‑led organisation. You will bring strong strategic, financial and governance skills, experience of funding and partnerships, and the ability to lead people and influence stakeholders. Knowledge of Scottish charity governance and the advice or community sector is desirable.
