What the role is

Reporting to the Campaigns and Social Innovation Manager, the Campaign Support Officer will support the development, administration, communications and delivery of a range of campaigns and projects with a specific focus on marine litter programmes and projects including our Upstream Battle Campaign.

Some travel may be required for this role.

What you’ll need to have

We are looking for enthusiastic and creative individuals with:

• Experience of campaign development and delivery;

  • Excellent communication skills to create, maintain and enhance working partnerships;
  • Excellent administration skills;
  • Experience of data management;
  • Understanding of current social media techniques and applications;
  • Ability to manage complex workloads;
  • Good, general IT general IT knowledge (including Microsoft Word, Excel etc.).

Desirable skills include:

  • Experience of community engagement work;
  • Working with volunteers;
  • Experience of maintaining and development of website content;
  • Having a general interest in environmental issues.
