Fundraising Administrator

The Fundraising Administrator is responsible for maintaining information related to supporter records, including capturing, inputting, organising, and reporting on supporter constituent information and donations to a high level of accuracy. They will also provide essential administrative support to the Fundraising team and maintain effective co-operative relationships.

Responsible for but not limited to:

Database management

Maintaining accurate and timely records in Raiser's Edge (RE), including constituent records, daily gift entry, supporter acknowledgments, data hygiene processes, identification of duplicates, queries/reports, and other supporter communications.

Work with Supporter Care & Database Manager to ensure data is managed and structured in line with relevant legislation, including GDPR & HMRC requirements.

Assist the Supporter Care & Database Manager in the production of month end reconciliation reports with the charity’s Finance Department.

Keeping mailing lists up to date in the database, adding and managing mail and email consents to supporter records within RE including segmentation, unsubscribes and updating contact details.

Record and process donations, including from other platforms, through manual input, by batch and importing to RE.

Ensure timely and accurate recording of all donor information and income onto RE ie. cheques, cash, Much Loved, JustGiving, Online Express, Givetap, Stripe, CAF online, Payroll Giving, CR/DR cards, Direct Debits & Standing orders.

Provide support for users of the Raisers Edge database through induction sessions and ongoing training.

Assist other organisation users with administrative tasks including importing of data, adding new users to RE (brochure enquirers & website newsletter sign ups), adding actions & consent preferences, building lists for emailing, help with any general RE usage enquiries.

Fundraising Administration

Assist with banking of all donations, cash collections and event income.

Prepare data for regular Gift Aid claims in line with an agreed schedule.

Respond to supporter enquiries in person, by phone and email (includes monitoring Fundraising @ inbox) ensuring excellent customer care of current and potential supporters.

Complete a monthly reconciliation of all donation income processed through RE with fundraising income processed through Xero.

Assist with the gift acknowledgement and thanking process.

Support the Fundraising team with any ad-hoc administrative tasks, especially administrative support for events including licence applications for charity collections and event licences as required.

Send out fundraising materials as and when required by fundraising team and Leuchie colleagues.

Support the Community & Events Fundraisers with payment considerations and support volunteers with collection Cans, maintaining accurate records, ensure cans are emptied and collected as appropriate, and issue thank you letters.

Support the Community & Events Fundraisers with processing event participants and making sure relevant information related to Leuchie’s events are added onto RE.

Support the Donor Relations Lead with data segmentation and pulling lists off RE to aid with sending out publications and appeals.

Assisting the fundraising team by passing on relevant information that you come across while working with the data.

Attending and assisting at events.

General

Attend and take part in meetings as necessary

Participate in mandatory training as per Leuchie House policies and practices

Be flexible in working hours to provide cover for holiday and absence

Any other appropriate duties as required

Knowledge and Experience

Excellent administration experience with strong attention to detail.

Experience of working in a customer focused environment with a strong understanding of fundraising and marketing

Experience of using Microsoft Office

Preferable experience utilising a database, ideally Raiser’s Edge. Full training given but advantageous if prior experience

Community and Events Fundraiser

We have an exciting opening in our Fundraising team for a Community and Events Fundraiser.

You will be responsible for coordinating events and community activities and maximising the income generated from those events as well as by those organised by supporters, volunteers and organisations.

You will support the fundraising team to inspire, develop and co-ordinate increased involvement from supporters, managing new and existing relationships with volunteers, donors, organisations and partners.

Responsible for but not limited to:

  • Lead our flagship events with a proactive approach to ensure their success.
  • Developing a community and events fundraising plan that will achieve agreed income targets in line with the overall fundraising strategy, review and update this on an ongoing basis.
  • Play a leading role in growing event fundraising through externally organised challenge events, established Leuchie organised events and to develop proposals for new events which have the potential to grow and develop.
  • Lead and cultivate in growing community fundraising activity and income through supporter-led fundraising, local groups and organisations.
  • Leading on the design and distribution of events promotional communications, media and materials, and collaborate with colleagues to co-ordinate these within the parameters of overall Leuchie communication plans.

About you:

Qualifications

  • Educated to SCQF level 6 in English and Mathematics, or through equivalent work experience.
  • Driving licence or the ability to travel independently to fundraising events.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Proven experience of generating income through community and event planning including organisation and delivery.
  • Experience of successfully recruiting participants, supporters, and/or volunteers for events and fundraising activities.
  • Experience of growing external financial support through excellent stewardship.
  • Knowledge of the community, including externally organised events which have the potential to generate income, and local organisations and companies which offer potential funding sources.

Skills

The role

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Band 6 equivalent Physiotherapist to join our Allied Health Team.

As well as providing one-to-one and group physiotherapy for guests, you will also be working with our multi-disciplinary team of nurses, Occupational Therapist and Enabling Technology team to help maximise our guests’ independence, improve their quality of life and comfort and help them plan for their future.

You will help guests participate in physical indoor and outdoor activities and support them in the use of specialist equipment, such as wheelchairs and mobility equipment. Liaising with NHS professionals and working collaboratively with the team are key to this role as you help create positive relationships with guests, relatives, GPs, and other agencies associated with Leuchie House.

This is a part-time, permanent role working 21 hours per week. Times of work can be flexible to suit the individual.

The person

To succeed in this role you will:

• Be a qualified physiotherapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

• Have experience in working with people affected by long-term physical conditions

• Have an aptitude to engage with people affected by and a genuine interest in long-term neurological conditions

• Be a competent and confident IT user with the ability to organise own workload

• Strong communicator, with excellent interpersonal and team interaction skills

• Have a positive, professional and reliable can-do attitude

• Have a flexible approach and attitude to working hours and tasks to be completed

• Manual handling skills in line with current Health & Safety legislation

We are looking for a leader who will bring together the work that has been completed on this project so far and deliver our vision to become the National Assessment Centre for Enabling Technology.

The position will attract an expert in the use of technologies which maximise independence. As well as this healthcare knowledge, you will need to be an expert project manager and a passionate advocate for individual independence.
