Fife Voluntary Action (FVA) is the third sector interface for the Fife Council area – supporting, developing and representing voluntary organisations, charities, social enterprises and volunteering across the Kingdom of Fife.
To be the strategic lead for the co-ordination and collaboration of third sector employability services and represent the sector strategically. To work collaboratively with statutory and third sector partners to maximise the impact of the third sector on improving employment outcomes in Fife.
Strong candidate sought to represent and build capacity of third sector employability services and improve employment outcomes in Fife. The successful applicant will work closely with the Local Employability Partnership (Opportunities Fife) and other key strategic partners to develop policy and commissioning of employment services in Fife. They will manage a small team to deliver an established programme of training and events as well as offering one to one support for third sector employability providers to improve collaboration, capacity and skills. Knowledge of co-production and lived experience work would be a bonus.
To provide high quality financial support within the organisation thereby aiding and enhancing the delivery of the organisation’s services to voluntary and community organisations in the area. The post involves producing and processing invoices, payroll and pensions data for FVA and our clients.

FVA’s Lived Experience Team supports strategic partners and others to make sure the policies they create, and the services they fund are best designed to meet the needs of those they aim to help.
Lived Experience Team Facilitators are paid to attend strategic and partnership meetings in relevant policy areas, and to both represent and support engagement of others with lived experience in policy development, service design and training. The LET supports a co-production approach wherever possible so that decisions are made together for the best outcomes for Fife.

The Co-production Coordinator will have a lead role in developing a co-produced review of family support services as part of the Whole Family Wellbeing developments progressing in Fife. The learning from this will inform future planning, design, and commissioning of services in Fife.

They will also engage with public sector partners to ensure all relevant voices inform the co-production journey and recommendations for whole family wellbeing and holistic family support.
The role will also influence wider policy and practice in Fife by sharing learning on the experience of co-production in the whole family wellbeing context.

The Lived Experience Team is an established team of active volunteers who aim to improve service design and delivery across Fife with a specific focus on mental health and employability. LET volunteers have lived experience of mental health challenges, trauma and/or unemployment made worse by a range of barriers or life experiences. The role of LET Coordinator is an exciting one, being engaged in supporting and expanding the work of the LET volunteers during a significant time of change in both the mental health and employability sectors in Fife. The successful candidate will have personal experience of mental health challenges as well as a strong commitment to improving services through co-production approaches. They will need to be able to work independently, as well as within a team and with strategic partners across Fife. Excellent communication skills are a must.

From Struggle to Strength supports people with lived experience of poverty or trauma as a result of poor mental health and/or unemployment through the combined work of our Lived Experience Team and Mental Health Peer Support Network. The successful applicant will have personal experience of both mental health challenges and unemployment and will work closely with the project team to deliver practical and administrative support to the project.
