C-Change supports people that have learning disabilities, mental health issues and other additional support needs to have real positive change in their lives regardless of their age or circumstances. Our work is based on a Human Rights Approach, empowering people to live their life to its fullest potential whilst being active citizens within their community.

Support Advisor (Social Care Manager)

The Brief: Support people we work for to live their good life.. To achieve this, you will be part of a team of front line managers who walk alongside people we work for to help each individual manage their team of Personal Development Workers. You will ensure each person we work for receives high quality support which is personalised, meaningful and aspirational, and that the person we work for is empowered to enjoy everyday living and are part of the community they live in. This role is be a dedicated Support Advisor for a young man who lives in Crieff, initially to help him establish his team and live his good life.

About You: You will be a people-person, authentic, assertive, flexible, patient, confident and resilient. You will be a team player who can work to your own initiative and not be afraid to ask questions. You will be supportive and able to adopt a coaching and mentoring approach to your work to support teams to work to the best of their abilities, to meet the needs of the people we work for. Experience of working with adults with a learning disability/autism would be beneficial.

Your Skills: It is essential that you can demonstrate effective communication, IT skills, planning & prioritising of work, relationship building and multi-disciplinary partnership working skills. At heart, you will be a people person who can support and encourage others around you to thrive and achieve. A relevant qualification in line with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) (an SVQ 3 in Health & Social Care) or a willingness to undertake study to achieve this is a requirement of this role.

Full Driving license and access to a car is preferred for this position.
