Introduction

The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) is seeking an inspiring and strategic fundraising leader to help drive the next chapter of its work. With an ambitious vision for conservation, science and community engagement, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to protecting wildlife and connecting people with nature, both in Scotland and around the world.

As Head of Fundraising, you will join an organisation committed to delivering lasting impact for species, communities and the natural world.

Job Purpose

To lead the fundraising function across the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS).

Generate restricted and unrestricted funding through integrated activities, campaigns and stewardship, achieving agreed targets.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, shape the strategic direction of RZSS, position the charity’s parks as world-class visitor attractions and strengthen its reputation as a global leader in conservation, science and community engagement.
