The Yard is an award-winning charity that runs adventure play services for children with disabilities and/or additional support needs and their families across Scotland.
Having recently expanded our services into Glasgow and increased our facilities in Dundee, we are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to contribute to the strategic and business planning of The Yard, to support us through the next stage of our development.
About the role & your responsibilities:
As Head of Finance, you will work closely with our Executive Team to contribute to the strategic & business planning of The Yard.
You will also have management responsibility for the Finance Team while providing oversight to the Office & Facilities Manager.

We offer play, respite and family support from our adventure play centres in Edinburgh, Dundee, Fife and Glasgow.
About the role:
As Fundraising & Communications Assistant, you will work to achieve our charitable objectives by supporting the Fundraising & Communications Team to raise the profile of The Yard across Scotland.
You will provide key administrative and stewarding support to the Fundraising Team and day-to-day financial fundraising administration.
And support our Communications Manager by gathering and creating content for both internal and external communications.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
• Researching, planning and writing small-to-medium funding applications to trusts, foundations and other funders
• Building relationships with donors and working closely with our other assistant to ensure consistent support across all income streams
• Supporting our Communications Manager in managing our media storage platform

We are looking for individuals who have the special ability to support and encourage play activities on a 1 to 1 basis with children and young people with disabilities and medically complex needs.
About the role & your responsibilities:
As a Support Worker at Holiday Support, you will play an active role in the set-up, delivery and development of play activities, encouraging and enabling children and young people to play and socialise in an inclusive way. There will be some requirement to assist and undertake personal care with individual children when required.

We are looking for a warm, friendly personality to cover reception, support with the day-to-day management of our membership system and provide administrative support to our Office & Facilities Manager.
About the role & your responsibilities:
As our Office & Facilities Administrator, you will provide front-of-house support at The Yard Edinburgh. While also providing support to our Office & Facilities Manager in managing our membership database, health & safety processes and tracking of centre maintenance.
