Purpose of Job
To oversee delivery of specialist therapeutic support, information, and advocacy services to survivors aged 12+ affected by sexual violence and to oversee and develop the delivery of sexual violence prevention work. The post holder will work closely with our Service Manager (Support Services) and other staff as appropriate to coordinate the day-to-day activity within the Justice Advocacy and Prevention services. To raise awareness about the prevalence and impact of abuse on individuals and our communities, building resilience and increasing access to support service. This position will involve effective monitoring and evaluation of projects and supporting the Centre Director with development work, funding reports and applications
The overall aim of this post is to provide support and justice advocacy to survivors who are engaged, or considering engaging, with the criminal justice system following an experience of sexual violence.
The overall aim of this post is to deliver interventions to young people around healthy sexual relationships using the Rape Crisis Scotland sexual violence prevention pack, and to support schools, colleges and universities with implementing holistic approaches to addressing gender-based violence. The post will also play a key role in the development of local strategic approaches to sexual violence prevention.
To deliver specialist therapeutic support and information services to survivors age 12+ affected by sexual violence, at our main premises, at outreach locations across Lanarkshire and via virtual methods.

The overall aim of this post is to provide support and advocacy to survivors who are engaged, or considering engaging, with the criminal justice system following an experience of sexual violence.
To develop and oversee the delivery of training and awareness raising programs relating to the prevalence, impact and prevention of sexual violence to the adult population within community and workplace settings. To develop and oversee fundraising/income generation opportunities and campaigns. This position will involve effective monitoring and evaluation of external training, engagement with partner agencies, fundraising initiatives/income generation and projects. The postholder will support the Centre Director with strategic development work, funding applications and reports.
Lanarkshire Rape Crisis Centre, established over 16 years ago, is part of the national network of 17 Rape Crisis Centres who are members of Rape Crisis Scotland and adhere to the RCS National Service Standards.

We also work in schools and with young people across Lanarkshire and strategically with multi-agency partners, towards preventing sexual violence.
We are looking for a skilled Prevention Worker to deliver interventions to young people around healthy sexual relationships using the Rape Crisis Scotland sexual violence prevention pack, and to develop local strategic approaches to sexual violence prevention.
