Creatovators CIC specializes in the Social Care industry and is a not-for-profit social enterprise working from a positive viewpoint with people on the autistic spectrum and their families. We have an exciting opportunity for a part time Project Co-ordinator to join our team. This position is well-suited to an enthusiastic, innovative person who is looking to transform the lives of participants through co-ordinating Playschemes and Buildovators (Lego-based Therapy) Programmes.

This position answers to the Directors. You will be responsible for organising 2 monthly Playschemes and our weekly “Buildovators” Sessions, setting up a new monthly Playscheme and extending our “Buildovators” Programme.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinating and follow-up of project tasks and actions.
  • Dealing with administration for projects, including report writing.
  • Attending and participating in project sessions/trainings as required.
  • Developing and maintaining voluntary project teams and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and maintained.
  • Recording: Numbers in the Playschemes; numbers in Buildovators (Lego-based Therapy) Sessions and progress made by participants, (if possible organising photos, case studies, interviews for feedback), and being involved in a sustainability plan.
  • Attending and reporting to meetings as required.

Main Requirements:

  • A degree, or relevant experience in a similar role.
  • A strong mindset for continuous improvement and meeting or exceeding expectations, and able to demonstrate complete discretion and confidentiality.
  • A passion for working with people on the autistic spectrum.
  • Good communication skills – listening and written.
  • Clean, valid driving licence with access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to work well with children.
  • An open attitude.
