Housing Services Assistant

Cairn Housing Group requires a Housing Services Assistant to provide high quality and customer focused service that covers all aspects of the tenancy and support to the customer. Duties include being responsible for processing housing applications and garage applications and maintain waiting lists in line with Cairn procedures and SLA’s, assisting the housing officers to identify prospective tenants and allocate properties within given timescales and providing first line basic advice on all tenancy related queries to ensure a consistent service.

The successful applicant should have 1-2years’ experience in a similar environment with experience of administration duties and communicating with customers over the phone, face to face and in writing.

We are looking for an experienced individual to fill an exciting role within our Customer Services Team.

Cairn Housing Group requires a Housing Officer to contribute towards the provision of an excellent tenancy management service aligned to our vision and values, organisational changes and relevant legislation, regulatory guidance and best practice.

The successful applicant should have a substantial experience of working in a similar role and dealing with all aspects Housing Management and it is desirable the successful candidate holds a Relevant Housing Management Qualification. It is also essential the successful candidate has substantial experience delivering a high quality comprehensive customer service.

Full Driving licence with access to a vehicle for business purposes is required.
