Could you play a part in leading and ensuring the effective operation of Edinburgh City Mission’s ministry and outreach programmes? We are looking to welcome a Director of Outreach to join our dynamic and growing team as we support churches in Edinburgh to engage in mission.

The Director of Outreach is responsible for leading and ensuring the effective operation of Edinburgh City Mission’s ministry and outreach programmes in the Edinburgh community and in partnership with Edinburgh churches; this role will include work on-site across Edinburgh. With responsibility for Edinburgh City Mission’s frontline service delivery, the Director of Outreach is the organisation’s safeguarding officer. As a member of the senior leadership team, the Director of Outreach contributes to wider organisational leadership, decision-making, and culture and wellbeing.

The Fundraising Manager leads the fundraising system and relationships to resource Edinburgh City Mission’s work. This role is crucial to the sustainability and growth of the organisation and its outreach work. While resourcing and fundraising, particularly impact reporting, is a collective effort, the Fundraising Manager is the centralised lead for all fundraising and resourcing efforts. This includes developing and implementing Edinburgh City Mission's fundraising strategy to attract investment and support, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, managing and mobilising funding sources effectively, handling commercial agreements, and ensuring responsible financial management. The Fundraising Manager operates across all aspects of the organisation, working particularly closely with the communications, finance, and outreach teams.

The Finance Manager will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Operations, including in reporting to the Board of Trustees, to support the good financial stewardship of Edinburgh City Mission.
