Who we are:
SU Scotland has a distinct position in children’s and youth ministry across Scotland, seeking to work in unity with churches, Christian youth organisations and Trusts. Our vision is to see every child and young people of Scotland exploring the Bible and responding to the significance of Jesus. We are a national charity, with around 140 staff and over 2,500 volunteers. Our activities take place in schools, outdoor activity centres, and local communities.
Associate Trusts play an integral part in all of this.
The first Associate Trust began in 1994 as a partnership between local churches and SU Scotland in a local community enabling children and young people to discover God’s love and grow in their faith. Since then, there have been many Associate Trusts partnering with SU Scotland, resulting in thousands of children and young people having the opportunity to “discover, explore, respond and flourish.”
We are seeking a part-time (0.8 FTE) Associate Trust Network Lead to join our Local Ministries Team, to drive the strategic expansion of the Associate Trust network, as well as to resource existing Trusts, overseeing and strengthening current infrastructure.

The successful applicant will have high levels of initiative, proven experience of charity sector governance and project management. Strong interpersonal and communications skills are also key with the ability to develop positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

At the heart of our current strategy is a focus on growing SU Scotland’s ministry, especially in priority communities and with priority schools and young people, removing barriers and partnering with local churches.
Building on the experience and impact of Ferrywell in Edinburgh (ferrywell.org.uk) and Junction 12 in Glasgow (junction12.org.uk), a key focus for the next period is planting more local Christian youth projects in priority communities to share the love of Jesus with children, young people and their families.
The East End of Glasgow has record levels of deprivation and work has already begun in the Bridgeton, Dalmarnock and Parkhead areas, making links with Eastbank and St Mungo’s Academies and their associated primaries. We are also encouraged by local church support for this growing work.
Purpose
Reporting to our Local Youth Projects Development Coordinator, this new role will be key in developing and leading the work to establish a youth project within the Bridgeton area, linking with schools in the Eastbank and St Mungo’s Academy catchments.

To achieve this, we want to identify someone with a vibrant Christian faith who understands life for young people within a priority community. They should be able to build positive, trusting and supportive relationships and have previous proven experience of this type of ministry with children and young people.

A proactive and organised IT Systems Coordinator to support the effective delivery of IT services across SU Scotland. You will act as the key link between staff and external IT providers, ensuring that systems and services run reliably and efficiently.
Purpose
The IT Systems Coordinator ensures that SU Scotland’s staff and volunteers are supported by reliable, well-managed digital systems and services. The role focuses on coordinating IT support, managing requests, and liaising with external providers to ensure issues are resolved promptly and systems continue to meet organisational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate IT support requests, ensuring issues are prioritised, tracked, and resolved efficiently
- Act as the main liaison with the Managed Service Provider (MSP) and other IT suppliers
- Maintain accurate records of IT hardware, software licences, and subscriptions
- Support IT onboarding and offboarding processes in collaboration with HR
- Develop and maintain IT documentation, procedures, and user guidance
- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Assist with IT policy development, GDPR compliance, and data security practices
- Promote effective and responsible use of IT systems across the organisation
Who we are looking for
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following:
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to track tasks, follow up consistently, and ensure nothing is overlooked
• Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple requests, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
• Clear and confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with both non-technical staff and external IT providers
• Experience in administrative, coordination, or operational support roles
