Scottish Borders Rape Crisis Centre (SBRCC) opened in July 2010 and offers free, confidential emotional and practical support, information and advocacy to self-identifying female survivors aged 18+ and young survivors of any gender/gender identity aged between 12 and 18. We support survivors who have experienced sexual violence at any time in their lives. This includes rape, sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse and other forms of sexual violence.

We are seeking committed and passionate women to join our Board of Trustees helping to shape the future of a vital, specialist organisation in the Scottish Borders.

The Board meets four times per year, with hybrid meetings lasting approximately two hours. Reasonable expenses are reimbursed, and induction and ongoing support are provided.
This is a women-only role under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
