Pregnancy Counselling & Care Scotland (PCCS) is an Edinburgh-based charity supporting families and individuals across Edinburgh and the Lothians through pregnancy, loss and early parenthood. Our vision is simple: Nobody is left alone to struggle with pregnancy, loss or early parenthood.
We provide two specialist services that work together to meet both the practical and emotional needs of families and individuals. Our Baby Bank provides free, bespoke baby packs containing essential equipment, clothing and toys to families experiencing poverty, while our specialist perinatal counselling service offers compassionate, professional counselling for anyone affected by pregnancy, baby loss, infertility, birth trauma or the challenges of early parenthood.

Pregnancy Counselling & Care Scotland (PCCS) is seeking an experienced and compassionate Interim Head of Operations to help lead our charity as we continue to grow and support more families than ever before.
Celebrating our 50th anniversary, PCCS supports families across Edinburgh and the Lothians through two life-changing services: a Baby Bank providing essential items to families experiencing hardship, and a Specialist Perinatal Counselling Service supporting those affected by pregnancy, baby loss and early parenthood.
Reporting to the Board of Trustees, you will provide operational leadership across our services, staff, volunteers, finances, fundraising and organisational systems. We're looking for an experienced leader with strong operational, financial, fundraising and people management skills who enjoys working collaboratively and making a meaningful difference. This six-month fixed-term opportunity provides leadership and continuity during the CEO's planned sabbatical.
