The national sexual violence prevention programme is funded by the Scottish Government to run workshops across Scotland on seven different topics adapted for four different age/stage groups. This work is led by workers based in local Rape Crisis Centres and places an emphasis on young people’s participation and leadership.

The prevention programme promotes children’s rights to protection from violence and abuse. The Women’s Rape & Sexual Abuse Centre, Dundee and Angus are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic worker to join our team.

A team player with youth work experience, the successful applicant will be involved in the delivery of sexual violence prevention workshops with young people addressing issues around sexual abuse, sexual exploitation, sexualisation, consent and healthy relationships. Experience in project development within a youth work model would be advantageous. We are looking to recruit a support worker for our Vice Versa project. Vice Versa provides support to adult women who have been involved, are currently involved or are at risk of being involved in Commercial Sexual Exploitation (CSE). The women we support generally experience multiple disadvantage which may include substance use, homelessness, physical and mental health issues, welfare issues and extensive historical and ongoing trauma.
