The Action Group is seeking two Development Managers—one for a permanent position and another for a 12-month fixed-term roleThis is a senior leadership role with responsibility for the quality, safety, and effectiveness of housing and care at home support services, enabling people to live independently in their own homes and communities.You will provide professional leadership to dispersed teams, ensure compliance with the Care Inspectorate and SSSC, and drive continuous improvement in line with the Health & Social Care Standards. You will also work closely with commissioners, partners, families, and people who use our services to ensure support is person-centred, reliable, and outcomes-focused.We are looking for a confident leader who combines strong regulatory knowledge with a compassionate, enabling approach to care and support.
About the role
As Development Manager (Registered Manager), you will:
Essential:
SSSC registration (or eligibility), management experience within Housing Support and/or Care at Home services, and strong knowledge of Scottish social care legislation.

The role focuses on team management, leadership, performance management, and overseeing service delivery, as well as data analysis and reporting, and processing claims for income from our funders.
