Throughcare Manager, National Voluntary Throughcare Programme

This Scottish Government funded programme will deliver inclusive voluntary throughcare services across Scotland for men, women and young people serving a short-term sentence or following a period on remand. A collaborative and relationship-based partnership model underpins delivery to support to achieve positive outcomes for people and wider communities. Improving reintegration and wellbeing ultimately improves lives and reduces re-offending.

We are recruiting for a values-driven manager to help us deliver our goals across the Partnership. Your role will be to support co-ordination and delivery of the work of the partnership and support them to develop and improve the service. Working closely with the Head of Programme and governance teams, you will support the monitoring of the service across Scotland and help drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. You will support the partnership and spend time promoting the service to a range of stakeholders including Scottish Prison Service, judiciary and local services.

You will be a highly organised and self-motivated person with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. You will be able to bring people together from different organisations to work in partnership and you will work with the people we support, to enable them to tell their stories and let their voices be heard.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in shaping and delivery a new high-profile government funded project, that is truly making a difference to people’s lives.

This role will involve working as part of a dynamic national team, primarily remotely, with some work expected at our central Edinburgh Hub office and travel as required to support engagement events across the partnership. Being educated to at least SVQ level 3 or equivalent is desirable, together with relevant management experience. Applicants must be computer literate with proficient experience of Microsoft tools.

We are recruiting for an individual who will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support to a range of partners including throughcare workers, managers, the Head of Programme and external stakeholders. The role includes management and maintenance of data records, extensive use of the case management system and provision of secretariat support. In addition to administrative duties, the role includes opportunities to support wider projects across the National Voluntary Throughcare Programme.

The successful applicant must be well organised and be an effective communicator within a varied and busy environment, have proven literacy and digital skills and be flexible to meet the challenging and changing needs of the service. Being educated to at least SVQ level 3 or equivalent is desirable, together with relevant experience of administrative work. Justice Worker – North Lanarkshire Justice Support

Sacro’s mission is to deliver life-changing services that empower people, give hope and protection, and help to build safe communities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our North Lanarkshire Justice Support Service, we are looking to recruit a Justice Support worker to work with those who are subject to statutory and non-statutory court disposals. This position will work in partnership with North Lanarkshire Justice Social Work as additional support to compliment work being undertaken by Justice staff. This position will also require the management of up to two volunteers with lived experience.

You should be able to demonstrate good communication skills and be skilled at developing positive working relationships with both colleagues and those who come into contact with our services. You will be required to have experience working with people involved in the Justice System. Additional skills, which will be necessary include good organisation and IT skills. Successful applicants will be required to be flexible in approach and have the ability to travel across North Lanarkshire.

The role is as challenging as it is rewarding, you will need to have a non-judgemental value base, a sensitive and practical approach, and be person-centred and flexible to meet the needs of the people we support.

A relevant qualification at SVQ level 3 or equivalent is desirable but training will be provided. Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) will be a requirement for this post. Along with satisfactory references.

A driving licence will be required and access to a vehicle with appropriate business insurance.
