This is a key role in Glasgow and Clyde Rape Crisis Centre providing specific prevention and education services for the benefit of children, young people and learners participating in further and higher education. Our prevention service is known as Rosey, which stands for Rape Crisis Offering Support and Education to Young People. The role requires a strong commitment to anti-discriminatory and equalities work and must demonstrate experience and confidence in developing, delivering, and evaluating innovative and engaging events with a range of diverse participants. The post holder will be capable in representing the service externally across agencies and representing GCRC in relevant networks, forums and working groups. Experience and understanding of working within an organisation that operates within a feminist, equalities and human rights framework is preferable for this role. Joining an already established team, this role will work to the Team Leader for the Service, whilst also being accountable for maintaining and applying the values, principles, and competences for the role to the Director of the Centre.

The role requires a strong commitment to anti-discriminatory and equality work and must demonstrate experience working directly with girls and women. The post holder will be comfortable and confident in representing the service externally across agencies. Experience and understanding of working within an organisation that operates within a feminist, equality, and human rights framework is preferable for this role. Ideally candidates will have a least 2-years working experience in a similar role, or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience gathered from volunteering, education or other routes. Joining an already established team, this role will work closely with the Team Leader for the Service, while also being accountable for maintaining 1 and applying the values, principles, and competencies of the role to the Director of the Centre.
