  • Full time
  • £29,672
  • On site: Iona
  • Closing 12th January 2025

Do you enjoy creating welcoming residential spaces for visitors and working alongside a team to keep these tidy and in good condition? Working at Iona Abbey offers the chance to live on a remote Scottish island, surrounded by beauty and community. If you like working alongside guests, providing friendly service and helping people make new friends by working together, might this be you?

As Housekeeper you would work alongside your team to create these spaces and support them in this work. You would also be responsible for the management of the team. Housekeeping is often seen as a “background” role, but due to the way the Community works, the Housekeeping Team are often the go to people for questions from guests.

This post contains an element of regulated work and as such is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and the post-holder will need to be or to become a member of Scotland’s Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme.

Due to the nature of this work, it will NOT be possible to consider candidates who do not already have the right to work in the United Kingdom
