We are seeking a new member of staff to join our team delivering community mental health and wellbeing services within West Lothian.

Our community mental health and wellbeing service in West Lothian supports people aged 55 and over in a variety of ways to live the life they want to live. Our approach is recovery focussed and works alongside people; drawing on their personal strengths and assets within their local communities.

Extensive travel should be expected as part of this role, and as such a driving licence/access to your own transport would be advantageous.

Organised and with an eye for detail, you will provide admin support to a busy Support Coordination team. Your role is to ensure frontline staff have up-to-date information about services that people we work with need and provide administrative support in relation to new registrations, purchase of services and goods, making sure that purchases/ contracting decisions follow procedures and recording requirements.

You will join a warm, supportive team that strives to continually improve our work on behalf of the people we work with.

We have an exciting leadership opportunity to join the Edinburgh Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Team as a Team Leader. Within this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day delivery of our mental health and wellbeing support services. As well as supporting the team, you will be responsible for having initial conversations with people looking to access support, to identify outcomes and match them with the appropriate support.

You will be responsible for the oversight and delivery of our: Guided Self Help Service, Peer Connecting Service, Women’s Wellbeing Service, Thrive Welcome Team and the Peer Community of Practice.

You should have experience in; leading and managing services, supporting people with their mental health and wellbeing, managing volunteers, and working as part of a team. We are also seeking candidates who have a knowledge or understanding of peer work.

We are offering a post for a Development Worker – Engagement Pathways to lead and develop our pathways into services for people. This includes enquiries, initial conversations including risk assessment, baseline outcome measures, reviews and endings.

This is a development opportunity requiring excellent communication and organisational skills, where the successful candidate will be required to support the journey of people through our services within Edinburgh, including our Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Services, Counselling Services and Trauma Support Services.

You will be key to maintaining quality within this area of service delivery. You should have experience of working together with people experiencing mental health problems to support them to achieve their aims related to mental health and wellbeing. You should also have experience of developing systems and processes and sharing your learning experiences across teams.
