Relationships Scotland is the largest provider of relationship and family support in the country. We support the provision of counselling, family mediation and child contact centres through a network of 22 services across Scotland, which provide face-to-face to support to over 15,000 people each year.

The Relationships Scotland Network is the largest provider of family and relationship support in the country. We offer relationship counselling, family mediation and child contact centres through a network of 20 member services across Scotland, which provide face-to-face support to around 15,000 people each year.

We are looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Communications and Marketing Manager, on a fixed term maternity cover basis. The primary purpose of this role is to work with the Chief Executive to deliver and further develop the Relationships Scotland Network’s Strategy as it relates to communications, marketing and political engagement.

This is a new post funded through the Whole Family Support Third Sector Delivery Fund and Weave Partnership. We are in this partnership with One Parent Families Scotland, Families Outside, and Fife Gingerbread. The Scottish Poverty and Inequality Research Unit (SPIRU) will be the learning and evaluation partner.

The post has been funded until 31st March 2027 in the first instance, with the intention set by Scottish Government that this funding will be extended to 31st March 2029.

We have an office in Edinburgh and would expect the post-holder to work from here on a Tuesday (this is our office day). The remaining hours can be worked remotely if needed, or there is a desk space at York Place if you prefer to be office based. Additional office days will be required for meetings in person.

The primary purpose of this role is to take the lead on our national helpline and enquiries service, signposting service users to their local member service. There will also be elements of administrative support to colleagues, including the Child Contact team.

In addition there will be elements of data collection and data entry, with the gathering of client information forms from our 20 member services.

The primary purpose of this role is to work with our 20 member services across Scotland on a range of issues, including development of national policies, co-ordinating Quality Assurance visits throughout the network, and establishing a new database for the collation of client information forms. The postholder will be working closely with the Head of Network Services to support the delivery of the Weave Partnership through the Whole Family Support Third Sector Delivery Fund, and the Corra CYPFEI Fund.
