Communications Officer – The Guild

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the staff in the Church of Scotland Guild as part of a team supporting a national movement. This role will work to support the strategic communication of the Guild to its membership and will provide invaluable resources and training that will support office bearers as they run the Guild locally.

As well as being familiar and comfortable with the values and work of the Guild and Church of Scotland, it is essential that you are creative and have excellent presentation and communication skills. This role will be based within Edinburgh, however travel throughout Scotland may be required.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Centre Manager at the Wellesley Centre in Methil, part of Wellesley Parish Church. The Wellesley Centre opened in May 2022 and provides groups and activities seven days per week.

The role of the Centre Manager is to oversee all the activities and to develop the potential of the Wellesley Centre, especially the Wellesley Café. A knowledge of health and safety, property maintenance and the development of groups that meet the needs of our community is essential for the role.

It is essential that you have the ability to work across a wide-ranging ideological, social and theological base.
