This is a rare opportunity to take on a newly created national role at the heart of CHAS’s mission. Every week in Scotland, three children die from a life‑shortening condition. CHAS is there for them - and for their families - providing unwavering, compassionate, specialist care.
Our Family Support teams include senior social workers, child and family workers, play specialists and other experts, working hand‑in‑hand with clinical colleagues across our two hospices, in hospitals, and in homes and communities across Scotland.
We’re looking for an exceptional Head of Family Support to shape and lead the full breadth of these services - from child & family support and therapeutic activities to bereavement, spiritual care and financial wellbeing. Your leadership will ensure families receive holistic, responsive and trauma‑informed support wherever and whenever they need it.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Children’s Nurse with a proven track record of providing exceptional support (care and skill) in a care setting (nursing practice), to join our Inverness CHAS at Home Team as a Staff Nurse.
As part of this growing team, you’ll contribute to the development and expansion of our at-home services in the North of Scotland, working in close collaboration with the CHAS Diana Children’s Nurse, NHS and local teams across Inverness and the wider Highlands and Islands.

If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Fundraising Administrator and we would love to hear from you!
As a Fundraising Administrator, you will be an integral part of the Income Generation and Engagement team, supporting colleagues from across the organisation. As the first point of contact for CHAS’ incredible supporters, you will build and nurture relationships by providing exceptional stewardship.
This is a vital role and requires someone with a great can-do attitude, who is organised and has excellent prioritisation skills. If this sounds like you, please get in touch.

At CHAS, staff and volunteers work together as one team, focused on the common goal of reaching every family in Scotland who needs our support. All CHAS staff will at some point work with or alongside volunteers and will be expected to support volunteers.
At CHAS, our ambition is to reach every family in Scotland who is living with the heart-breaking diagnosis that their child is dying, and offer them our care and support to empower them to make the most of the short time they have together. As a Fundraising Administrator, you will be instrumental in achieving this vision and shaping the future of CHAS.
This role will be based in the Stepps office, with some hybrid working and travel to other CHAS sites as required.
Our team typically works up to two days per week from home, with some additional on site presence during our peak campaign periods (usually 3–4 weeks in spring, August, and over Christmas).
