We are seeking a Family Support Worker to join our team in our GAMH North East Carers Service. The primary focus of this post will be to work with unpaid Carers and Young Carers delivering a range of supports that enable Carers to manage their caring responsibilities while maintaining their own health and wellbeing.
As a Family Support Worker you will be providing practical and emotional support working collaboratively with Carers and their families and partner organisations to ensure Carers have access to appropriate information, resources and opportunities.
All applicants must be able to work flexibly; early morning, evening and weekend working may be required.

This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and organised individual to support unpaid carers through the administration of Time to Live and Short Break funding. The primary purpose of the role is to facilitate the distribution of microgrants enabling unpaid carers to take short breaks from their caring responsibilities and improve their wellbeing.
The post holder will also provide general administrative support to ensure the effective delivery of the Carers Service.

We are seeking an Assistant Project Worker to join our GAMH Community Recovery Service providing individual support and group coordination at our Community Hub and wider Group Activities.
This is a city-wide service, and, in this role, you will support adults experiencing or recovering from mental health challenges through the provision of personalised one to one support, recovery-focused groupwork and wellbeing activities. You will help create safe, welcoming, and inclusive environments where people can build confidence, develop skills, improve wellbeing, reduce isolation, and strengthen supportive relationships.
Experience of working in mental health, social care, community development, group facilitation, or a related field is desirable. Knowledge of recovery approaches, strengths-based practice and social inclusion would be advantageous.
A qualification at SVQ Level 2 (or equivalent), or a willingness to work towards achieving this qualification, is essential. As these services are registered with the Care Inspectorate and you will be required to pay an annual fee to maintain your registration.
