Are you passionate about improving the lives of people living with dementia and their families? Do you have the leadership skills to drive an innovative project that integrates support, training, and community engagement? Meeting Centres Scotland is seeking an exceptional individual to manage the newly established Royal Victoria Dementia Meeting Centre and Training Hub.
About Dementia Meeting Centres
Meeting Centres are inclusive, supportive hubs designed to enhance the wellbeing and quality of life of people living with dementia and their care partners. Meeting Centres provide structured activities, social opportunities, and practical support, tailored to individual needs. They create a safe, understanding environment where people can connect, share experiences, and build resilience.
The Royal Victoria Dementia Meeting Centre, situated within the Royal Victoria Hospital, will offer a unique opportunity to provide person-centred care in a hospital setting, alleviating the stress of hospital stays for people living with dementia. This pioneering project will be run by Meeting Centres Scotland and will also serve as a training hub for future healthcare professionals, equipping them with the skills and compassion required for high-quality dementia care.
