Do you have the knowledge and skills to lead and deliver a vital and exciting range of strategic projects in a local community setting? Do you have experience in managing a team of staff and/or volunteers? Does developing and delivering projects centred on health and wellbeing and activities in a local centre used by approx. 500 service users each week appeal to you? Would you like to be part of the growth and development of this community asset by taking the centre forward for the next generation?

If so, this exciting opportunity as Centre Manager through a period of ambitious growth and development over next two years could be for you.

The community group was established in 2018 and in 2021 the group secured the Coatbridge Stadium building to deliver a community hub in North Lanarkshire to encourage active participation and support mental health and well-being through sports, activities, events and give local people a sense of belonging. We have achieved numerous successes to date, most notably the development and growth of the centre over the past two years for the use of the community. The role will report directly to Cliftonville & Coatdyke Community Group (CCCG) Board of Directors and be responsible for the line management of 8-10 part time staff as well as volunteers. The post will also work closely the Community Development Officer and various partners, including many local organisations, and across the wider community.

Applications are welcomed from all walks of life with diverse backgrounds, cultures, perspectives, and experiences to support.
