Reporting to the Director, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic leadership of DataKirk, working closely with the Director and the Senior Management Team. You will be responsible for overseeing income generating projects, representing DataKirk on strategic boards, and building and strengthening partnerships with third sector organisations and corporate entities. Your proactive approach will be critical in advising and supporting staff in strategic decisions and identifying opportunities and threats to the Charity.
Reporting to the Human Resources Officer, the Employment Specialist – Digital Navigator will collaborate with the HR Officer to assist newcomers in addressing their unique employment needs, providing one-on-one and group support, offering orientation and information, and referring Black Talent job seekers and Newcomers to appropriate resources. In addition, this role involves facilitating job search skills training, offering insights on the Scottish labour market, and providing access to online resources.
This position is crucial in helping clients stay updated with and access various online job search tools, platforms, and employment events while developing guides for job seekers with low employability and digital literacy skills.
Reporting to the Human Resources Officer, the Training & Education Navigator will collaborate closely with the HR Officer to deliver vital support to Black Talent and newcomers, helping them navigate their distinct education and training needs for successful entry into the Scottish labour market. This role is committed to guaranteeing that clients receive up-to-date, precise, and invaluable information that equips them to make informed and practical choices regarding their educational and training pathways.
The Training & Education Navigator will provide this support through a blend of workshops and personalised one-on-one guidance within our TalentPointr project. This critical role encompasses working with stakeholders including universities and organisations to ensure Black Talent have access to training and opportunities for positive destinations in Scotland.
Reporting to the Programme Manager, the Community Youth Worker will play a vital role in engaging with and supporting budding Black Talent in our community. This role is focused on fostering positive development, providing guidance, and creating opportunities for local youth to thrive. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, empathetic, and committed to making a positive impact in the lives of young people.
Reporting directly to the Deputy Services Manager, the Human Resources Officer will be responsible for a wide range of HR activities, including people development, pay and benefits, HR policies and legislation, learning and development, employee engagement & recruitment, while contributing to the overall success of our organisation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing all HR functions, supporting our employees on a part- time basis.
