This is an exciting job role for you to bring your experience, knowledge, and event management skills to develop weekend activities and set up an outdoor market in the Vale of Leven for the benefit of residents and visitors alike.
Your role will be to create, develop and oversee the operation of our Weekend Activities & Outdoor Market in Alexandria, Vale of Leven. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Development Manager and alongside other staff & volunteers where appropriate
You will work 35 hours per week; hours per week may fluctuate based on event schedules and availability however they are primarily over weekends. The role involves a high level of contact with the public, requiring excellent communication and customer service skills.
You will be proficient with Microsoft Office suite, customer service and social media experience.
You may be required to left heavy items to and from events and to work in outdoor weather year-round.
This post is funded on a fixed term basis until November 2024 and is funded by:

Funding will be sought to extend the post beyond the two years.

This is an exciting job role for you to bring your experience, knowledge and management skills to lead this young charity forward over the next two years.
Your role will be to develop, implement and to deliver our Active Travel Hub and Weekend Events project and manage the staff team. This will include working with and alongside the community, community organisations and statutory bodies. As a key member of the team, you will be expected to contribute to the strategic direction of VOLT through consultation, development and business planning in conjunction with the Management Committee.
The successful candidate will manage and develop the current projects as well as working towards sustainable activities for the long term benefit of The Vale of Leven Trust.
