We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kinship Support Worker to help strengthen and support kinship families and communities. This role is central to delivering frontline support, building community connections, and ensuring families have access to the resources and services they need.
You will work closely with professionals, parents/carers, children, and young people to provide information, guidance, and meaningful support, with a particular focus on kinship families in East Lothian.
Join our team in the Edinburgh region as Education Advisor. The postholder will provide frontline education advisory support to kinship, adoptive and foster families, as well as professionals, regarding education services for care experienced children.
They will lead the development and delivery of education training across Scotland, contributing to organisational lobbying and campaigning on education issues.
The role also includes coordinating education-focused support groups for families and young people, and working collaboratively with youth services to ensure that the voices of young people inform service design, resources, and delivery - particularly in relation to education and employability.
