Role

LGBT Health and Wellbeing is a national charity founded in 2003 with a simple but powerful vision: a Scotland where LGBTQ+ people can thrive and where who we are doesn’t stand in the way of our health, happiness, or full participation in society.

Our mission, rooted in compassion, solidarity, and lived experience, is to provide specialist, life affirming support that meets LGBTQ+ people where they are, and to advocate for a Scotland where everyone can live well and be well, no matter who they are.

You can read more about our work and impact in our latest Impact Report.

The Role

The Fundraising Partnerships Coordinator is a key member of our Partnerships and Communications team, and part of an amazing wider team driven by a shared mission to grow our organisation, increase our reach, and provide safe and affirming spaces and services to Scotland’s LGBTQ+ community.

This is a role that drives unrestricted income by providing support to our fundraisers including individuals, corporate partners and local businesses. You will lead on an exciting calendar of fundraising events and help develop and deliver our future fundraising activity.

You will be involved in helping craft fundraising communications to both new and existing supporters, shape our future fundraising appeals and keep accurate records by owning our fundraising income reporting.

About You

This is an excellent role for someone who enjoys finding and developing new fundraising partnerships with individuals and groups and thrives on chasing and exceeding income targets. We are hoping to find someone with 1-2 years fundraising experience within a charitable organisation or similar, or someone who has been in a role which has helped them develop a similar range of skills and experience.

If you are someone passionate about fundraising, with fantastic planning and organisational skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you.
