Govan HELP is a growing, place-based family support charity, established in 1996, committed to improving opportunities and outcomes for children, young people and families living in the Govan area. We provide a range of integrated early-intervention and family support services, working alongside families to build on their strengths, promote wellbeing and improve outcomes.

We are delighted to be developing our new Govan HELP Family Centre, which provides a welcoming, accessible space where children, parents, carers and families can access a range of support, activities and services. The Family Centre brings together different areas of our work and strengthens our ability to provide families with coordinated support in a welcoming and community-focused environment.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Administrator to join our multi-disciplinary team and provide effective administrative and reception support across Govan HELP. The role will play an important part in the day-to-day running of the Family Centre and will provide a welcoming and professional first point of contact for families, visitors, partner agencies and professionals accessing our services.

We are looking for someone with relevant administrative experience gained within a busy office or customer-facing environment. The successful candidate will be able to manage a varied workload, prioritise competing demands and work effectively as part of a team. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, a positive and friendly approach, and the ability to build good relationships with a wide range of people.

The role requires someone who is confident using IT and Microsoft Office applications, has good attention to detail and understands the importance of confidentiality when working within a family support environment. The successful candidate will play a senior and supervisory role in the operation of our Esmond Street Service: a 22 place supported living project for older people with learning disability and/or complex needs. The successful applicant will have experience of support planning and review systems, and will be in a position to work on a shift-rota basis. She/he will have experience in a supported living setting, the ability to work on their own initiative, and have a positive, empowering and flexible approach to the support of people with learning disabilities. The post requires the successful candidate to be involved in the supervision and development of the staff team; including training, developing systems, mentoring and auditing. She/he should also possess an appropriate qualification, or be willing and able to achieve this within an agreed timescale.

Key responsibilities

• Research, map, and secure new corporate, public sector, and SME partners whose CSR, ESG, and D&I pillars align with MCR Pathways’ mission.
• Deliver compelling pitches, proposals, and workplace engagement events to drive high-volume mentor recruitment and hit ambitious monthly regional targets.
• Serve as the primary account manager for regional partners, delivering exceptional service to nurture long-term commitment and turn partners into active champions of the program.
• Collaborate with the Communications team and local networks to execute place-based campaigns and social media drives that raise brand visibility and generate prospective mentor inquiries in priority areas.
• Work closely with cross-functional internal teams to optimise the conversion process, guiding prospective mentors seamlessly from initial inquiry through to active onboarding.
• Utilise CRM systems and dashboards to track pipeline activity, evaluate campaign ROI, and monitor key recruitment and retention metrics.

We are recruiting for a part time Community Link Worker to be based in GP practices across Renfrewshire. This position is permanent and part time working 30 hours per week across Tuesday to Friday (7.5 hours per day). This post requires the ability to travel between locations, as such a driving license and access to a vehicle is required.

They bring a unique skill set and third sector perspective that complements the work of the multidisciplinary primary care team. Through 1:1 appointments, using evidence based interventions and small group work we help people change their lives for the better. Common reasons for referral to our service include low level mental health difficulties, problems with housing, poverty, relationships and bereavement.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Knowledge and experience of working with people who are experiencing complex social and emotional circumstances including mental health difficulties
• Ability to work in a structured service, to follow a service model and collect information about the impact of the service
• Extensive effective interpersonal skills in working with people on a 1:1 basis, including the ability to learn and use recognised therapeutic techniques
• Knowledge about the impact of poverty and health inequalities on health and wellbeing and impact of rurality on health inequalities
• Ability to establish professional relationships with multiple stakeholders; i.e. GP Practice teams, Social Work, Mental Health Services and Money Advice Services
• Evidence of creating and maintaining community connections and networking abilities
• Experience of working independently, whilst upholding the policy and procedures of the organisation
• Ability to organise own workload and appointment system and use time efficiently to deliver a targeted number of appointments
• A driving license and access to a vehicle

Ideally you will also hold SVQ level 3 Social Services and Healthcare or equivalent but this is not essential. Should you be successful in your application, you will be required to provide 3 years' worth of references and where applicable, will need to undergo an enhanced DBS/PVG check.
