Connect2 is a Christian support charity working across Forth Valley. We support people and families affected by addiction and other life challenges.

About the role
We are looking for a Women’s Coordinator to lead and develop our women’s recovery pathway across Forth Valley and surrounding areas.
This is a practical, people-focused role. You will build trusting relationships with women and help them take steps towards safety, stability, recovery and long-term support.
The women’s pathway has three main stages:
Reach and trust – meeting women through referrals, outreach, community links and safe first conversations.
Structured support– offering one-to-one support, follow-up, group support and practical next steps.
Ongoing belonging– help women identify their needs, strengths, risks, goals and next steps, and connect them with appropriate Connect2 support, statutory and local services, community support or rehab pathways where appropriate.
What you will do
You will:
• receive, review and follow up referrals;
• provide one-to-one support to women;
• meet women in appropriate community settings;
• help women access Connect2 and other suitable support;
• take part in some evening outreach and community work;
• support female volunteers;
• build good working relationships with churches, local services and partner organisations;
• help create safe, welcoming women-focused and women-only spaces; and
• keep clear and accurate records.
Although the main focus of the role is supporting women, you will also work as part of the wider Connect2 team in some mixed outreach and community settings.

Essential requirements
- Female post-holder required because of the women-focused and women-only elements of the role and the vulnerability of the women being supported.
- Active Christian faith aligned with Connect2’s values and ethos.
- Full UK driving licence, access to your own car and appropriate business insurance.
- Willingness to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends.
- Willingness to take part in appropriate Connect2 outreach and community activities.
- PVG Scheme membership / appropriate Disclosure Scotland check will be required.
This role has occupational requirements for the post-holder to be female and to have an active Christian faith, due to the women-focused nature of the role and Connect2’s Christian ethos.

About the project
The Hospital In-reach service operates across 3 sites in Edinburgh; the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, the Western General Hospital and the Royal Edinburgh Hospital. The project supports people to complete courses of treatment within hospital, plan for a discharge into accommodation that suits their needs and provide follow up support to those with the most complex healthcare needs.

About the role
Working alongside clinicians in the hospital settings, you will provide one-to-one person-centred support to people in hospitals. You will work with individuals to enable them to identify housing options, personal outcomes and priorities for their health and wellbeing and link them to local support services and activities. The role works across multiple hospital sites, as well as community healthcare and accommodation settings. The role regularly involves lone working, with a need to work flexibly across multiple locations on any given day and can be physically demanding.
About you
You will have experience of working with people who are experiencing complex social and emotional circumstances, and a strong understanding of the challenges faced by people experiencing homelessness. You will use your excellent interpersonal skills to deliver effective one-to-one work as well as manage relationships with multiple partner agencies.
You will be resilient and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, with the ability to respond flexibly.

Key Worker, Women in Safe Homes (WiSH)

About the role
Cyrenians WiSH project is an exciting partnership with Resonance, a social investment organisation, which purchased homes for charity partners to provide to vulnerable women. Domestic Abuse is the biggest cause of women’s homelessness in Scotland, and the fund purchased 30 homes for Cyrenians to provide to women and children who have had to leave an abusive household.
Working in a small team, you will provide relationship-based support to women who have become homeless due to fleeing domestic abuse. You will assist them to settle into one of our safe, supported properties and work alongside them to manage risk and promote wellbeing while they transition into a new permanent home.
About You
You will be an experienced support worker, and passionate about helping vulnerable people into a better situation. You will also be:
- Experienced in working within homelessness, social work, health or related fields
- Trauma-informed and committed to supporting those who face disadvantage and stigma
- Organised and able to work flexibly with a varied workload

This role is a new exciting initiative to support disabled people who face cross service barriers affecting their ability to live independent lives.
Are you passionate about helping people access the support, services and opportunities they need to live well and independently? The Independent Living Association is looking for a motivated, flexible and knowledgeable Community Navigator to work with individuals across rural Clackmannanshire, helping them overcome barriers, build confidence and connect with the right support at the right time.
About the role
Working predominantly in Clackmannanshire and rural areas of Forth Valley, the Community Navigator will provide person-centred support to individuals who need help accessing local services, community resources and statutory funded support. You will work closely with health, social care, voluntary sector and community partners, including our SDS Forth Valley service and Supporting in the Right Direction Project, to help people experience a more joined-up approach to independent living and wellbeing.
What you will do
You will:
- Provide one-to-one, person-centred support to individuals, helping them identify their needs, priorities and life outcomes.
- Offer information, guidance and practical support to help people access services such as housing, benefits, healthcare, mental health support, training and social groups.
- Support people to navigate complex systems and overcome barriers including digital exclusion, lack of confidence or lack of information.
Community engagement and partnership working
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local support networks, voluntary groups, statutory services and community organisations.

About you
We are looking for someone who has:
- A full driving licence and access to a car are essential as you will be travelling throughout Clackmannanshire and the Forth Valley area
- Knowledge of social care legislation and the ability to interpret related legislation in practice.
- Experience working with individuals or communities in a support, guidance, advocacy or outreach role.
- •Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with a diverse range of people.
- An understanding of local services, social issues and the barriers affecting vulnerable people and their families.
- The ability to manage a caseload, prioritise effectively and work independently.

- Good IT and administrative skills, including accurate record keeping.
