Fool On are recruiting for a part-time (16 hours per week) project co-ordinator, based at our offices in Coatbridge.
Fool On are a well established charity in North Lanarkshire. The charity was established in 2015 with the aim of promoting recovery from mental health issues through performing arts.
We currently operate 4 community outreach groups, featuring guitar lessons, singing and comedy writing workshops. We hold frequent performances for our members to show off their newfound skills and confidence and have recently taken part in the Glasgow International Comedy Festival!
This role is fixed term for 2 years and is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Stigma Free Lanarkshire team based in Motherwell, Lanarkshire. Building on a history of vigorous campaigning against mental health stigma, and working in partnership with NHS Lanarkshire, the Stigma Free Lanarkshire programme is leading in the planning, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of an ambitious programme of change at local level here.
We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and motivated individual with a strong understanding of the challenges related to mental health stigma and a genuine commitment to addressing them. As the Stigma Free Lanarkshire Development Officer, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and sustaining key partnerships with NHS Lanarkshire and other vital stakeholders. Your role will focus on promoting and delivering the project across four key areas: health and social care, communities, workplaces, and education and young people.
You will join a team of four within the SFL programme, working as part of the broader Lanarkshire Links team of twelve.
In addition, embedding a rights-based approach, you will assist in achieving the project’s aims to create inclusive systems, culture, and practice as well as encouraging opportunities for contact between those who experience stigma and those who perpetrate it.
This project is funded by NHS Lanarkshire. It is hosted by the service user and carer organisation, Lanarkshire Links, whose purpose is to support mental health service users and carers to be involved in the process of planning services and provision. Stigma Free Lanarkshire is a pan Lanarkshire programme.

Responsibilities of the Head of Services
As Head of Services, you will play a key role in the leadership and delivery of Epilepsy Scotland’s strategic vision. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will oversee the organisation’s front-line services, ensuring they are responsive, evidence-based, and aligned with the changing needs of people living with epilepsy across Scotland.
This role calls for a confident leader who is equally comfortable working at a strategic level and managing the detail of day-to-day operations. The services currently offered include Emotional Wellbeing for Adults, a Welfare Rights Service, Youth Work Service and a National Helpline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Leadership: Provide strategic and operational leadership across Epilepsy Scotland’s services, fostering a culture of empathy, excellence, and innovation.
- Team Management: Line manage a geographically dispersed team including the Services Team Manager, Welfare Rights Officer, and Helpline Officers, offering supervision, support, and professional development.
- Service Development: Identify opportunities to improve and expand services in line with the charity’s strategy, funding opportunities, and the evolving needs of service users.
- Monitoring & Evaluation: Oversee the implementation of project plans and evaluation frameworks that track outcomes, ensure quality, and support funding compliance.
- Partnership Working: Build and sustain collaborative relationships with statutory and voluntary sector partners to enhance service delivery and reach.
- Safeguarding & Risk Management: Lead on safeguarding across all services, ensuring staff are trained, policies are up to date, and all activities are risk assessed appropriately.
- Budgeting & Reporting: Prepare service budgets, manage expenditure, and contribute to funding bids and reports for funders, trustees, and external stakeholders.
- Organisational Contribution: Work closely with the CEO and other senior colleagues to contribute to strategic planning, organisational development, and advocacy priorities.

Experience and Skills:
- A minimum of three years’ experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams, preferably in the voluntary, health, or social care sector.

- Experience working in partnerships and with external stakeholders, including funders.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
- A deep understanding of safeguarding principles, health inequalities, and the social model of health.
- A reflective, emotionally intelligent approach to leadership and team development.
- Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion in all areas of work.
- You may also bring lived experience of epilepsy or another long-term health condition, and/or knowledge of the unique challenges faced by those managing such conditions.

VOX (Voices of Experience) Scotland is recruiting for a Policy & Participation Officer to support the team based at our Mental Health Foundation Glasgow office.
VOX is Scotland’s national voice on mental health, we represent our members’ views to Scotland’s politicians and health professionals to make sure Scotland’s laws and mental health services reflect our members needs and interests. VOX’s Board of Directors includes individuals who have lived and living experience of mental ill health. The role of the Policy and Participation Officer will be to work alongside the VOX Senior Development Officer to progress the key aims within VOX’s business plan, including delivering on specific project and policy objectives and achieving required outcomes.
What does the role involve?
- To support VOX Scotland respond to consultations which will influence the policies and laws in Scotland which impact people living with mental illness.
- To gather insights and experiences from our members and the wider public to enable us to deliver research and evidence around the experiences of people living with mental illness.
- To help develop opportunities for those who have, or have had mental distress to influence the development of services with which they may engage.
What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of human rights, social justice issues and the inequalities encountered by those who have experienced mental health problems.
- Demonstrable ability to engage with the Scottish Policy, service and practice environments (mental health and social justice).
- Demonstrable relevant experience in working within the Mental Health or related field.
