Urban Uprising

Urban Uprising improves the life chances of disadvantaged young people using rock climbing. Our programmes deliver physical, social and personal development, and give young people access to highly trained positive role models through our coaches.

We give young people who wouldn’t normally have the chance an opportunity to experience the transformational personal change that climbing can bring.

We work in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Cambridge, Bristol and London, partnering with local youth organisations to reach young people experiencing disadvantage, often from deprived communities. We also partner with climbing centres who provide instructors and entry at reduced cost.

Climbing creates a progressive safe space where young people can consistently take risks to develop confidence and other key life skills.

Role Summary

Urban Uprising is seeking a skilled and motivated Trusts and Grants Fundraiser to join our small, passionate team. This role is key to growing our income from charitable trusts, foundations, lottery and statutory sources to support our climbing-based youth development programmes across the UK.

You will lead on researching opportunities, writing compelling applications and reports, and stewarding strong relationships with funders. You’ll work with an established system, use AI tools to boost productivity, and collaborate closely with the Programme Manager and Trustees.

This is more than a delivery role — we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us, as we enter an exciting new phase of development. As we expand our reach and income, this role offers the opportunity to shape and develop the fundraising function. You’ll be able to contribute strategically, work flexibly in a way that suits you, and take on greater responsibility over time.

Lesmahagow Development Trust is based at the Fountain Community Centre in Lesmahagow. Our organisation is first and foremost community-led, with the community at the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for a talented, experienced youth worker to join LDT and support young people to develop in ways that are meaningful to them. The role will support the planning and development of youth and community support across LDT activity including our Allotments growing/ greenspace skills programme, and wider events and universal youth work as required.

The Youth Development Worker will play a strong role in planning and delivering engaging youth work sessions across the LDT Community programme and for ensuring young people are engaged across our organisation.

The post holder will act as a critical relationship builder, as needed by linking in with families and referral partners.

You will have experience of providing youth work activity to people in communities and be passionate about supporting people to improve and enhance their lives.

The Organisation

Fife International Forum is a charity focussed on supporting migrant and refugees communities across Fife. We aim to address poverty, social mobility, and employment challenges for those who have moved away from their usual place of residence. The Role

We are looking for an additional experienced Operations Manager to coordinate and deliver our operational services to drive our strategic vision, champion equality, diversity, and inclusion, to ensure the continuing success of our organisation.

The Operations manager is a key operational role within the organisation. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing staff within a diverse team, as well as strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills. They will demonstrate excellent communication skills, including people whose first language is not English, and be confident in building community relationships. A high standard of English, strong IT skills, and experience in report writing, project management, and budgeting are essential. A relevant degree or equivalent experience, and a valid UK driving licence with access to a car, are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning, organising, and coordinating all aspects of operational processes, people, and systems to ensure that services are consistently delivered and maintained.

• Designing and creating effective processes and plans of action for all services. Monitoring and adjusting service processes within financial limits.

• Leading and managing a team of caseworkers, and other staff developing and training staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and experience to carry out their roles effectively.

• Establishing and maintaining a detailed overview of service delivery, monitoring metrics and beneficiary feedback to drive the continuous improvement of service delivery.
