Applications are invited from an experienced Housing and Homelessness Caseworker with at least 2 years casework experience. (Please note this is Not a solicitor or trainee solicitor post)

An opportunity to work within our innovative and busy projects preventing homelessness, assisting vulnerable groups, clients and their families, and those with complex needs.

Govan Law Centre Prevention of Homelessness Project require an experienced Housing and Homelessness Caseworker to provide service users with advice, representation, individual casework and advocacy, in terms of current Housing and Homelessness Law and Policy and also in terms of section 11 of the Homelessness (Scotland) Act.

Providing housing advice across all tenures; Social Rented, Owner Occupied & Private Rented Sector. Providing homelessness advice to vulnerable clients and provide support to vulnerable individuals and groups

The post holder will be based mainly within our office at Govanhill Law Centre. Including some outreach throughout Glasgow but mainly in the North East Glasgow area.

We currently operate a flexible hybrid working model with a mix of home and office working.
