CentreStage is a dynamic, inclusive, and exciting arts and wellbeing charity in the heart of Kilmarnock, residing in the regenerated Kilmarnock Academy building after undertaking Scotland’s largest Community-led Asset Transfer in 2018.

THE ROLE
We are currently seeking to recruit a part-time Finance Assistant for our finance team on a permanent basis. Key responsibilities for this role will be the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices accurately and timeously ensuring adherence to timescales.
Other responsibilities will include the reconciliation of supplier statements, preparation of weekly payment runs and credit control activities.
As Finance Assistant, you will work closely with the Finance Director and as a team member, ensuring all aspects of finance administration are managed effectively and efficiently. You will be reliable, organised, computer literate, able to work independently and as part of a team in a small office environment and have a mature approach to handling confidential financial information.
Experience with Xero accounting software preferable but not essential
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel and Outlook
In your experience, you will have a reputation for being highly organised and dependable, and having an ability to communicate effectively across the breadth of the organisation. CentreStage is a fast-paced organisation and as such your ability to respond to competing priorities and demands and your adaptability will be an asset in influencing and interacting with colleagues and stakeholders.
