About the role
As the charity works to double the number of women it helps, the Fundraising & Partnerships team is recruiting for an Events & Communications Manager. They will engage new and existing supporters and raise vital funds in support of our mission.
Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, Partnerships and Communications, the Events & Communications Manager will play an integral role in delivering an exciting portfolio of fundraising and retail events across the year and will manage Smart Works Scotland’s digital communications to support the growth and development of the charity.
The successful candidate will have good relationship building skills to ensure lasting and mutually beneficial event partnerships, experience in stakeholder management (both internally and externally) and demonstrable knowledge of best-in-class event delivery. The role will be based primarily at our Smart Works centre in Glasgow with occasional travel to Edinburgh. Reasonable travel expenses to and from Edinburgh will be covered. Occasional weekend and evening work is also required to lead and support on our external events.
