Role

A highly motivated and energetic individual is required to provide direct support services throughout Fife to survivors of rape and sexual assault. Experience of delivering one to one trauma focussed support is essential.

The post-holder will be responsible for delivering FRASAC’s specialist sexual violence support services, including advocacy as required, to survivors within Fife aged 12+, who have experienced any form of sexual violence at any time in their lives, including, rape, sexual assault, child sexual abuse or commercial sexual exploitation.

The post-holder will predominantly work with clients who require immediate short-term support in the “Here and Now”, which may include support via phone call, video-call or face to face support.

The post-holder will take an approach informed by an understanding of trauma, including complex trauma. The post-holder will be required to work across the different functions of the service including initial assessment, short- and long-term support, group support and video calls/text/email support.
