We are recruiting for an Office Manager (with experience in finance administration) to support the delivery of our charitable objectives. This includes: managing our office and training suite, our contractors, and supporting our finance function efficiently and effectively.
About the job
The Office Manager is responsible for office and finance administration, reporting to the Director. Duties include: facilities management of our office and training suite, general business and administrative support, financial administrative support, and responsibility for HR and Health and Safety.
This role is based at our office in central Glasgow.
About you
You will be someone who thrives in a small, friendly and enthusiastic office team of five people. Your experience of working in the Third Sector or small organisations means you will be adaptable, use your initiative and be comfortable with a high degree of autonomous working. Using your experience in office and finance administration, you will be able to work under pressure and have the ability to multi-task with a range of conflicting priorities. You will have excellent organisational and self-motivation skills, good time management and the ability to work alone at times with limited on-hand support.

Human Development Scotland (HDS) is a charity working to improve the mental health and emotional wellbeing of individuals, families and communities in Scotland through professional training, CPD and the provision of counselling and psychotherapy in Scotland.
HDS delivers training and education in counselling and psychotherapy along with providing a therapy service direct to clients.
At the heart of all our work are the psychodynamic, psychoanalytic and systemic ideas that offer a profound understanding of how people relate to one another and the central role of human relationships in our mental health and emotional wellbeing.
We believe our professional training will help to relieve mental and emotional distress by increasing the availability of, an access to, high quality psychodynamic and psychoanalytic counselling and psychotherapy for all who need them.
