Are you a relationship-focused fundraising professional who wants to make a visible and lasting impact?
We are a dedicated team of seven making a profound difference to adults, families and children living with HIV and Hepatitis C across Edinburgh and Lothians. Through practical support, advocacy, social connection and community engagement, we help people live well and with dignity.
We are now looking for a Fundraising and Engagement Lead to help strengthen our fundraising and community engagement activity and support the long-term sustainability of the organisation. Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and colleagues across the organisation, you will help identify opportunities, secure funding, build relationships with supporters and partners, and raise awareness of Positive Help's work across the communities we serve.
This is a varied role where no two weeks are quite the same. One day you may be developing a trust application, strengthening a corporate partnership, or analysing fundraising performance and future opportunities. The next, you could be supporting a community fundraising initiative, coordinating volunteers, developing campaign content, or representing Positive Help at local events and meetings.
We are looking for someone who brings ideas, initiative and good judgement, enjoys building authentic relationships, and understands that successful fundraising is about much more than meeting this year's target. Alongside generating income today, you will help develop the partnerships, supporter relationships and opportunities that contribute to Positive Help's sustainability in the years ahead.
As part of a small organisation, your contribution will be visible. You'll have the opportunity to influence how we engage with supporters, communities and partners, while working collaboratively with colleagues to strengthen our impact and reach.
If you're motivated by building meaningful relationships, creating opportunities, and helping a well-respected local charity thrive, we'd love to hear from you.
Please see the full Job Description, Informaton Pack, Application Form and EDI Monitoring Form.
We look forward to receiving your application, note that CVs will not be accepted.
If you'd like an informal telephone discussion about the role with our CEO, please email admin@positivehelpedinburgh.co.uk and we will arrange a mutually convenient time.
Closing Date for Applications: Monday 14 September, 12:00 noon
