Govan Community Project provides a range of holistic services for people seeking asylum, refugees and vulnerable migrants in the Greater Govan area of Glasgow.

Our Digital Inclusion Coordinator supports our community members with connectivity, access to devices and development of digital skills.

You will be joining our Communities team and responsible for managing a device lending scheme which supports digital inclusion for our community members. You will support individuals not only to access available devices but to understand how to use the device. You will work collaboratively with key stakeholders and local partners to identify existing learning opportunities which are accessible to our community members or if gaps are identified, work with local partners to develop these opportunities.

Our ideal candidate will have experience of supporting vulnerable individuals to develop digital skills and engaging with communities where English is not the first language. You will have knowledge and understanding of the impact of digital exclusion on those in the asylum process. You will be confident in developing partnerships to improve accessibility of community based digital learning opportunities. You will be confident in collecting quantitative and qualitative data to evidence the impact of your project and be able to manage your time flexibly and effectively.

Working days will include Tuesday mornings with some flexibility offered over Monday to Friday for the remainder of the hours.

Are you an experienced finance professional with strong leadership skills? Join the Iona Community as our Financial Administration Team Leader, a pivotal role overseeing the day-to-day operations of our finance department. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely financial processes, supporting the wider organisation and reporting directly to the Head of Community Resources.

We are looking for someone self-motivated, flexible, and able to work independently and as part of a team, experienced in using Xero, with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management.

Key Responsibilities include

• Lead the daily operations of the finance administration function
• Support weekly, monthly and year-end processing and reports
• Support for annual audit, respond to queries and collate documentation
• Assist with annual budgeting and provide budget spend reports to senior managers
• Oversee processing of sales ledger, purchase ledger, expenses and monthly journal inputs
• Assist to file financial, regulatory and legal information with statutory bodies as and when required
• Supervisory responsibility for the Finance Administration Assistant.

We have an exciting opportunity to join Govan Law Centre (GLC) on a permanent basis as a Management Accountant and Finance Officer. This is a new and regraded position with additional responsibilities.

We are seeking applications from individuals with at least 4 years’ experience of working in a varied finance role within a complex organisation and who possess the skills to take on the tasks outlined in the job description.

Introduction

The Wynd Centre, Paisley has been in existence for over forty years as the mission and outreach centre of Oakshaw Trinity Church. Its purpose is to provide outreach to the local community of all faiths and none in both Paisley, and the surrounding areas.

Our Centre fulfils this role by providing Counselling Services and also accommodation for local community groups. It has an auditorium used for various types of functions and entertainment. There is also office space that is available to rent for either short or longer term use.

The Centre has been presented with the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Services.

The Development & Administration Officer is responsible to the Board of Directors (the Board)

The Development & Administration Officer has a responsibility for employees and budgets and is accountable to the Board of Directors for the implementation of vision, strategy, priorities and policy as determined by the Board and the administrative requirements of Oakshaw Trinity Church. With an instruction from the Board of Directors to reach a balanced budget by 2027, the Development & Administration Officer will play a pivotal role in delivering this, ensuring that the Centre’s resources (human, financial, and material) are aligned to support a sustainable presence. The Development & Administration Officer holds a crucial role in creating and sustaining the conditions in which growth is possible.
