About FEAT and Silverburn Park

FEAT is a mental health and employability charity committed to enabling individuals to flourish and reach their full potential in a culture free from stigma. Through FEAT Trading CIC, we also regenerate Silverburn Park in Leven by combining commercial and community activities that reinvest surplus back into the charity.

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Project Co-ordinator to lead and deliver the Silverburn sParks programme. You will design and co-ordinate a wide range of engaging community activities that support adults with mental health challenges to reconnect with their communities, improve wellbeing, and progress towards volunteering or employability opportunities.

Working with a rolling caseload of up to 30 participants, you will deliver and oversee activities such as arts and crafts, gardening and horticulture, mindfulness and wellbeing sessions, physical activities, healthy eating workshops, and peer-support groups. You will also provide one-to-one and small group support, helping participants set and achieve personal goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Recruit, engage and support participants and oversee their progression to positive destinations
  • Identify, recruit and manage sessional workers within agreed budgets
  • Plan and deliver group activities and individual support
  • Build strong partnerships with referral agencies and community organisations
  • Accurately record participation, outcomes and feedback using digital tracking systems
  • Contribute to monitoring, evaluation and reporting for funders
  • Work independently while reporting to the Operations Manager
  • Undertake occasional evening and weekend work, including lone working when required

About you

  • HNC level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area
  • Experience supporting individuals with mental health challenges
  • Confidence delivering activities and working with groups
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, approachable manner
  • Alignment with FEAT’s values and commitment to equality

A full driving licence and experience in community or outdoor settings are desirable.
